Olfactory Description: A special pure phenylethyl alcohol of superior odour quality.

Perfumery - Warm, rose-honey.

Flavour - Sweet, honey-rose flavour in low concentrations.

Application Information:

Perfumery - In floral fragrances, particularly rose. Also jasmine, lily of the valley and orange blossom. In various balsamic, herbaceous, mossy and aldehydic fragrances.

Flavour - Widely used in butter, caramel, honey, melon, raspberry and strawberry flavours.

Phenylethyl alcohol is a nature identical flavouring substance as defined by the International Organisation of the Flavour Industry (IOFI).
